I've played guitar for most of my life but recently decided to dabble in the bass. I've now got a new lease on music and can't put the bass down. I want to join a band to grow and enjoy the instrument further. My days of being a band guitarist are long gone replaced now by wanting to be a bass player in a support role. Ultimately I think it would be great to be in a band that enjoys playing music from the classic rock genre. There's an honesty about song compositions of that era that I don't think can be rivalled in terms of musicianship and pure enjoyment.
