ABOUT

I am a compentent musician with 30+ years experience in live and studio sound production, and live performance on keys, bass and guitar - and more recently, drums. I have many originals that need fleshing out, but I also love a good cover song.

In September '22 I caught covid and, as a result I permanently lost the hearing in my right ear, and severely damaged the hearing in my left ear. I now wear a hearing aid in the left ear, and I have a cochlear implant on the right side. My hearing rehabilitation has taken an intensive couple of years (and will never truly be over). But something I am 100% committed to is my music!

In January '23 I took up drum lessons to aid the brain plasticity that I needed to relearn to hear. I'm now a competent drummer in a variety of styles and genres.

I'm very laid back and friendly, and love to have a jam. I have a decent music room with all the gear, just rock up with your instrument or voice and we can jam.

Aside from casual jams - as wonderful as they are - I am looking to ease back into performing semi-regularly, too.
