I'm based Port Macquarie, Im a vocalist, singer songwriter. I am performing solo, but would like to form a working duo would be ideal, Or band, with a bass player, {upright is a bonus) or keyboard player, cellist, or violinist, or acoustic or electric guitar, available to practice and gig. Perhaps a drummer too. Ability to sing and harmonise would be a bonus. I play acoustic guitar and simple mandolin, djembe, occasionally uke. Prefer guitar.
Sing many genres. Can harmonise by ear. My writing varies from folk, ballads to soft rock, but I can belt out a song too. I have a strong voice. I sang in a duo for 15 years until recently. Prior to that I was vocalist with a 15 piece swing band. And have had quite a few roles in musical theatre. Looking for someone committed to practice, playing and performing. I like many genres of music, though we can only list four on our profiles. My original songs are ballady, mostly, but I love to up the tempo too, and can belt out songs too, and with a bit of soft rock at times. EQUIPMENT
Custom handbuilt guitars and uke, djembes, stomp pad, Roland PA, yamaha speakers.. keeping it simple as Im mostly solo or duo at the moment but love the full sound of a band and love being able to concentrate on the singing.
