Recently started a band and looking for a drummer playing original music with an indie/country/Americana vibe.
We're not the most experienced musos, this is the first time any of us has played in a band, and though I've been playing guitar since I was six and have always played and written music, it's only in the last year that playing and writing has been an all consuming obsession. We all have different musical tastes, from country/blues to disco/funk to house/techno, and want those influeneces to shine through. Did have a drummer but he had a baby and understandably needed to focus on family.
Most important for all of us is to feel comfortable in collaboration and communication - low on ego, big on good times, just wanting to make great music.
Willingness to chip in for pizza's during practice preferred but not essential.
