ABOUT

***** Update as of May 2025. We have had our launch night in late last year, but are looking for a vocalist / keyboardist to complete a 7 piece Rock and Soul band ****

The band and style of music idea came to life post our worldwide pandemic. Inspired by what original Rock n’ Roll and Soul did post war period in the 1950’s. Our band aims to bring back the same fun, party, dance experience original Rock and Soul did with a modern 7 piece band lineup!

Designed to get people moving, connected, dancing and having fun with life, we are aiming to not only play great music but make it memorable.

We are mixing up Rock and Soul music as we feel it represents the perfect cocktail for that stomping party, dance music we enjoy playing. We also feel our range of music selected will capture a wide audience at weddings, private / corporate events and pubs.

We are aiming to cover and equal mix of original and new Rock n soul artists. Plus have a portion of songs that cover well known rock songs but in a soul style or vice versa to keep our sound fresh and unique.

We have semi-professional and professional experience playing in various groups in previous years from rock, jazz, funk, soul, originals and ska.

We are ideally seeking 20’s-40’s yo range with final lineup to have a mix of ages and gender to help keep us relevant to our wide audience as we grow.

We are open to varied levels of experience, but most importantly those who are keen to work hard on the details to bring this style of music to life. Good communication is also key, so that together we can produce something special while keeping it fun. We would also require weekly commitment to rehearsals on the Gold Coast ( currently at Worongary) while we build up two strong sets that can cover future weddings, corporate functions and events.

We are aiming to do some trial sessions in 2025 for a keyboardist/vocalist . Looking for someone who is comfortable in this genres and is keen to take lead or solo keyboard parts and vocals in some songs.
