I am a 37 year old drummer, with a BMus(hons) degree in ethnomusicology from the New Zealand School of Music. I am looking for a band of skilled and professional musicians playing music that is fun to play, with a unique sound. I like groove music, hit the listener with unbearable repetition, they are listening and be like damn that’s such heavy repetition, just got to move, move to the beat.
Or looking for a skilled bassist, preferably with jazz training, who can keep a nice steady groove, even if the drums go out of time crossing and confusing the time messing things up, who would like to start a powerful rhythm section, that we can market to other musicians.
Preferably musicians who want to practice a lot.
Or anyone who wants to go busking jamming on the streets sometime.
