I enjoy composing and jamming. Over the years I've recorded with a friend (keyboards) mainly for our own entertainment.
I've written many pieces of music ranging in style from pop ballad to alt rock and electronica/instrumentals. Lyrics are a challenge, and I've got several "works in progress" that are waiting for words.
Aside from playing in a couple of high-school bands, at parties etc I've not had any real stage experience.
I enjoy the old and the new. I'm fond of fusion, melding styles, playing 'outside the box'.

Instrumental composed by Wayne McAuliffe, 1999. This recording mixed from all-MIDI source into MP3 in 2003. I've got tentative lyrics for this, somewhere (incomplete as usual). Influenced by Moby's Porcelain, which blew me away. I wanted to write something in that style, ethereal strings and piano and a solid - albeit funky - rhythm.
