I'm a singer songwriter who started writing songs from grade 5. I taught myself keyboard for songwriting purposes. I have had quite a lot of experience over the years being part of the school band playing flute and trombone and then singing in the dixie land band. Taught myself open chords on guitar but I currently have a maton just sitting there collecting dust so I can't say I am a guitarist at all :P I later studied music at tafe gaining my advanced diploma of music performance and have played a few gigs here and there. While I did learn music theory, I am much better by ear. I really want to transform my songs into something awesome! I am very versatile with singing different genres and write anything from pop/rock/indie/ballad/folk/emotional/electronic type stuff!
I would love to find a producer/muso who shares a similar style and would want to see my songs to completion and get them out there. Also open to writing together,singing your stuff and collaborating. Would be great if you have your own at home set up. Makes practice and recording easier. I have a mic, input, mac book pro etc and can put together rough demos to send through. I am used to working online.
I am not huge on gigging and would love to focus on studio recording and online however, if it came down to it and we were gaining some attention I would be open to gigging.
I was previously working on an album with someone but they decided to go their separate way. So I have songs I can send through if you'd like to hear. I just really want to get back into it.

Influences
Broods, Chvches, Purity Ring, Tori Amos, Belinda Carlise, 80's!! female vocal chill step, Stuff on Tripple J. Love Taylor Swift. The killers, Lana Del Ray, The jezabels. So many!! I tend to love a bunch of different songs rather than heaps of specific bands. If the chord progression gets me or the lyrics hit a spot then I'm in no matter the genre.
